The Zero Waste Manufacturing Manager's main responsibilities are to lead a group of project managers to implement results within the manufacturing initiatives undertaken to support Apple's environment and Environment and Supply Chain innovation teams in Apple's commitment to being 100 percent carbon neutral by 2030!

This manager will interact with Environment and Supply Chain Integration leaders to develop manufacturing and operations deliverables, based on defined roadmaps and goals.

Key Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of proven experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering and other technical fields. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Experiences in sustainability, environment engineering, facility management, worked in factory operations and managed waste management, recycling and energy efficiency projects.
  • Action oriented, proactive, driven, good communicator and great teammate.
  • Good written and oral communication skills with ability to break down and convey complex information.
  • Managed complex and large scale projects in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.

Description
- This role is responsible for bringing together the key partners and driving the implementation of tasks by responsible team members, from start to finish.
- The ideal candidate should have proven prior work experiences in successfully implementing zero waste initiatives in manufacturing and supply chains, which include manufacturing process improvement for cycle time, energy efficiency and material waste reduction.
- The manager should be proficient with data collection, data analysis, developing dashboards and zero waste data management systems from green field to complete implementations.
- Ability to translate big picture project goals into milestones, key performance metrics and detailed tasks for internal cross functional teams and suppliers to implement.
- Coordinate with Apple internal cross functional groups worldwide, Environment and Supply Chain Innovations, Operations, Engineering and Apple contract manufacturers and suppliers to develop ideas and implement solutions and detailed execution tasks to projects completion.
- Influence senior cross functional leaders to support deliverables.
- Resolve issues and help derive mitigation plans.
- Manage executive presentation for projects progress and provide effective communications on future visions and solicit leadership support.

Education & Experience

Bachelors in Business Management or engineering discipline, with strong program management background. MBA is desired.
