Job Description

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced XPU Memory Architect who can help define the next generation of Intel's cutting-edge GPU products. In this role, some of the responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

  • Develop and analyze architecture and micro-architecture options for the GPU Memory sub-system, including caching, address translation, very-high BW internal fabrics, and optimal use of external memory technologies to improve the performance and overall value of our products.

  • Work closely with senior architects and micro-architects and be exposed to the overall architecture of the GPU, and the Client and Server platforms in which it resides.

Minimum Education and Experience:


A Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or a directly related field and 3+ years of education and/or industry experience in one, or more, of the following: 

  • SW development in C++, or similar high-level language

  • Computer or Graphics platform or component-level development (HW or SW)


Preferred Skills:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or a directly related field and 1+ years of education and/or industry experience in the above skillset

  • Experience in parallel programming

  • HW/SW modeling and simulation
