Job Description

Intel develops Best-in-Class Graphics Technology that is a critical part of our major silicon chip product lines. Intel's XPU Architecture Team is responsible for architecting the core graphics technology that is featured in these products. We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join the XPU core architecture to help define and build the next generation of highly efficient XPU architectures for Intel.

 

As an XPU Core Performance Architect you will be a member of the architecture team that guides larger teams of hardware design engineers and software compiler engineers to build new XPU products.

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Performance analysis of graphics and compute workloads and modelling features in performance simulator for our XPU IP

  • Drive feature closure with performance sign off by engaging with software and hardware teams

  • Research on new performance/power/area enhancements to reach PPA targets

  • Data analysis, validation, debugging and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to summarize and explain complex technical results that enable quick decision making


Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

 

A Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or directly related field along with 3+ years of experience in the following 

  • CPU Architecture simulator development and performance analysis.

  • Software and Scripting skills (Windows/Unix, C/C++, Python/Go)

 

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • Knowledge and experience in the following:

  • Performance, power analysis and projections

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$95,360.00-$143,140.00
