Job Description

In this dynamic and highly visible role you will direct the Intel Xeon Scalable processor's in-market sales ramp phase to enhance customers preference and accelerate its purchase (from the Intelligent Edge to Cloud, and everywhere in between). 


As a Intel Xeon Scalable Product Manager and Ramp Strategist on our growing team, you are responsible for creating and executing strategies that enable customers to "Do Wonderful", which results in achieving our Market Segment Share/margin growth objectives.


This highly visible role will require engagement with a wide range of stakeholders to strengthen the Intel Xeon Scalable platform foundation and to increase adoption, despite an intense competitive environment.


The successful candidate for this leadership position combines business acumen, organizational savvy, inclusive emotional intelligence, and confidence in simplifying the value drivers of complex technologies.

As a leader, you will set priorities for the team, get results across organizational boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage stakeholder performance.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing presales and post sales service to customers
  • Acting as a liaison among customers and manufacturing, sales, field sales, order processing and accounting to resolve status, production, delivery and billing inquiries
  • Planning and scheduling work to meet deadlines established by others to ensure the completion of several related tasks
  • Engaging with development teams to enhance future product roadmaps. 
  • Using judgement in data analysis to develop and design solutions for moderately complex processes
  • Driving the Intel Xeon product line (i.e. define / enhance / execute customer preference demand generation plus sales acceleration plans)
  • Managing the Intel Xeon "State of the Product" team that comprehends competitive environment with business plan to exceed customer demand forecasts
  • Conducting data mining, market research, product/pricing/mix and competitive analysis
  • Defining profitability optimization methodologies and proactively managing products in changing market conditions
  • Engaging Intel stakeholders on shared objectives (incl. engineering, business management, global marketing, sales enabling and account teams)
  • Presenting to management decision forums the strategic recommendations / investments required to drive material impact to revenue/margin optimization
  • Creating profitability optimization methodologies for differentiated SKUs; activate solution partners on feature enabling and optimizing for customers' evolving demands.
  • Ensuring plan execution (e.g. enhance customer-targeted marketing assets, partner sales enabling programs, collaborate to add to or modify product line)
  • Achieving optimal outcomes during product excursions (customer-obsessed responses/mitigations)
  • Continuous learning enhancement through documentation of process improvements and propagation of key insights to positively benefit future roadmap

  • Desire and willingness to influence Intel's product and technology roadmaps through analysis as well as communicating recommendations and findings to Intel senior managers.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education Requirement:

The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field with 6+ years of experience, OR MBA/Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, or related Business field with 4+ years of experience. OR PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field with 2+ years experience of the following:

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • 2 plus years experience creating profitability optimization methodologies (e.g. product line SKU differentiation; solution partner engagement / activation on feature enabling and optimizing for customers' evolving demands.)
  • 2 plus years experienced providing presales and post sales service to customers

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 plus years experienced defining profitability optimization methodologies and proactively managing products in changing market conditions.
  • 2 plus years experience conducting data mining, market research, product/pricing/mix and competitive analysis.
