Simplicity is difficult to achieve. Apple's People Operations team is constantly striving to improve and evolve process. Our teams are renowned for their ability to execute a high-volume of work with incredible accuracy, while still maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment. The Workday Foundation Data Specialist will have the unique opportunity to help define our ways of working within the new HRIS and CRM tools. In this role, you will strategize how to improve and continue to innovate down to the details that produce a world class experience.

The Workday Foundation Data Analyst will work closely across the People Operations team to provide operational expertise to deliver results and support business needs. You will partner with cross-functional teams to provide direction on operational processes, problem solve escalations, and identify opportunities to constantly improve the support of our business partners and employees.

This position can be based in beautiful Austin, Texas or Raleigh, NC.

Key Qualifications

  • You have extensive experience working in a People / HR Shared Services environment
  • Proven experience managing foundational data in Workday for a global organization with complex organizational structures
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, pivoting effectively in an ever-changing environment
  • Capable of connecting the dots between processes and systems, both upstream and downstream, to create scalable solutions
  • Ability to drive results, collaborating across teams to provide technical and process solutions to solve critical business needs
  • An analytical mind with an ability to use data and metrics to tell a story and influence decisions
  • Experience communicating to leadership, providing data insights that could be influence process and business decisions
  • The initiative to efficiently meet the demands of multiple internal customers and influence decision
  • Ability to work independently and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Unrivaled attention to detail and consistent delivery of the highest quality of work
  • Skilled at effectively managing and prioritizing escalations or business critical situations
  • 4+ years experience with HRIS systems
  • 2+ years experience with Workday HCM
  • Experience with CRM technology (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Global HR Operations and navigating its complexity is an advantage
  • Proven capability to work with a sense of urgency, prioritizing and re-prioritizing seamlessly depending on business demands
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and discretion

The Workday Foundation Data Analyst manages critical foundational data elements within Workday. Your knowledge, insight and expertise will help power us forward in the implementation and ongoing enhancements of Workday. This global-facing role works cross-functionally to support Workday business processes and complex transactions, partnering closely with internal partners. You are essential in helping us achieve operational excellence while offering our employees a world-class support experience.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred.
