The Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems team is seeking a talented individual with outstanding communication skills and an exceptional technical knowledge of cellular technologies. Key Qualifications

• In this team, we are working on influencing the definition of next generation wireless systems/standards in terms of system concepts and network architecture!
• Proven understanding of wireless communication, information theory, signal processing and graph theory
• Good understanding of physical layer and 3gpp procedures
• Experience with network stack beyond layer-2, and core network architecture is desirable
• 3+ years experience with shown ability and validated hands on programming languages in C/C++, Python, is a must
• Experience in simulation and modeling work in organizations such as IEEE and/or 3GPP
• Handling and processing large amounts of field and simulation data
• Familiarity with AI/ML is desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Deep understanding of wireless radio standards (including but not limited to 5G-NR, LTE, UMTS, 802.11ax, 802.11ad)
• Excellent communication, documentation skills and ability to develop detailed system architecture documentation
• Collaboration skills and willing to work with different teams

In this team, we are working on influencing the definition of next generation wireless systems/standards in terms of system concepts and network architecture!

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with different technical teams to define wireless and network features, help drive external infrastructure vendors and carriers to full feature realization!

You will analyze system requirements (including but not limited to link level, radio procedures, application level performance) based on wireless standards and product requirements and set system performance targets for wireless products.

You will also have the opportunity to define innovations and technical contributions in different areas of the cellular protocol (L1/L2/L3), network architecture. The chance to create an impact is tremendous! In addition, you will develop models of overall system and network performance and evaluate performance and critical metrics tradeoffs to optimize the overall system and network architecture.

You will have proven track record to optimally lead technical initiatives across a functional organization.

As part of the team, you will help develop detailed system performance models and you will help drive multi-functional tasks related to product performance optimization. Most importantly, you will be part of building intellectual property and participating in industry/academic research projects as well as contributing to future 3GPP work items.

Education & Experience

CS Preferred and MS or Ph.D in EE
