In this role you will plan, direct and lead all aspects of warehouse operations, as well as, train and provide direction to assigned personnel in.

Key Qualifications

  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages (Barcode & Scan)
  • Minimum of 5 years previous warehousing experience
  • Knowledge of modular furniture systems preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, push or pull weights of up to 75lbs
  • Direct, lead, and coordinate the activities of warehouse personal
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
  • Strong computer skills, email, MS Word, MS Excel
  • Material handling equipment certified

Description

Direct, lead and coordinate the activities of all warehouse personnel.
Work with multiple groups within Facilities to provide support for storage needs and inventory detail.
Plan, lead all aspects of, and participate in warehouse operations and activities to ensure; accuracy of inventory, efficient and effective warehouse organization ensuring streamlined workflow process, timely receipt and delivery of product in order to maintain Service Level Agreements.
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
Interface with multiple furniture vendors to ensure deliveries are accurate and free from damage.
Maintain records, Inventory and prepare reports.
Assist with providing necessary security within the warehouse.
Assist with maintaining, updating furniture inventory database.
Interface with furniture installers to ensure proper material handling.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.
