In Division III − Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the KIT Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology invites applications for permanent employment as

We are looking for a person, who is to represent in research, academic education, and innovation the field of industrial information technology with the areas of systems theory and signal processing.
Applicants should be experienced and have a high reputation in several of the following areas:
Candidates should have an internationally outstanding scientific qualification, excellent didactic skills, and leadership experience. Experience gained in industry or close-to-industry research as well as in initiating or establishing startups and in the acquisition of third-party funding is desired.
In the area of academic education, candidates are expected to actively participate in existing and newly established German and English study programs offered by the KIT Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology as well as in related programs offered by other departments of KIT. Besides courses in the field covered by the professorship, this also includes basic lectures in bachelor’s programs.
Employment conditions as outlined in Article 47, LHG (Act of Baden-Württemberg on Universities and Colleges) in conjunction with § 20 KITG (KIT-Gesetz) shall apply.
