Job Description

IoT Experiences is a team of User Experience (UX) architects, designers, researchers, content strategists and writers within Intels Internet of Things Group. One of our teams key priorities is to ensure that Intels Internet of Things platforms deliver a fantastic user and developer experience (DX).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Planning and conducting a variety of research methods, including interviews, field studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, usability studies, and more.
  • Enables teams to make decisions based on data and insights.
  • Creates templates and guides for teams to conduct, analyze, and document research findings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Human Factors, Design, Experimental/Cognitive Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience practicing UX architecture, research and/or design.
  • 3+ years of experience working from product concept to final product; working with early concepts, low- fidelity storyboards and prototype to high-fidelity prototypes and products
  • 3+ years of experience leading developer research and product design. 

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD degree.
  • Experience in both qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, along with statistical analysis expertise.
  • Experience in defining and connecting large-scale, technology-intensive solutions and innovative business models with desired user experience.
  • Experience with software defined networking, 5G, and/or other wide area networks and cloud native development tools.
