The US Channel Store Operations team is looking for a Field Demo Technology Program Manager to support in-store demo merchandising solutions and Channel technology initiatives within the Consumer channel - representing approximately 15,000 points of sale in the US that carry Apple products.
This individual will function as the Demo Program Ambassador for partner communications, Tier 2/3 Support, compliance, and field training strategies.
The candidate should have a passion for Apple and must be comfortable working alone as well as in a fast-paced dynamic team environment. Being detail oriented and proactive is a must for this position.

Key Qualifications

  • Expertise using macOS and iOS, Apple Apps, and Apple hardware products
  • 3 years proven experience managing and deploying technology programs, preferably in storefront environments
  • Outstanding relationship leadership skills
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Comfortable running pilots, visiting stores to learn and observe, engaging with Channel partner IT staff, and rapid experimentation to identify/resolve problems and implement continuous improvement opportunities
  • Ability to drive sophisticated projects in a cross-functional organization
  • Solid understanding of radio frequency technologies, regulations and standards, protocols and devices, network implementation, network security, radio frequency site surveying, antenna concepts, 802.11 network architecture, wireless LAN hardware and software, along with network design, installation and management
  • Experience participating in systems quality testing, writing and executing test cases

Description

Roll-out demo content and drive software compliance across all demo program lines of business (Mac, iOS, Watch, and Apple TV) utilizing existing systems and tools, as well as crafting new processes as needed.
Demonstrate existing reporting tools and build targeted ad hoc reports for specific partners or programs.
Develop and implement communication strategy for field business partners and store staff. Address content and system launches, system training, instruction, escalation paths, and program timelines.
Build and maintain strong customer, field, and cross-functional relationships. Work alongside with the team, Shared Services/vendor support teams, and regional counterparts.
Participate in UAT of new software systems and validate demo content prior to deployment. Design local test and use cases as needed. Provide feedback and issue documentation for technical and operational troubleshooting under tight deployment timelines.
Address fields technical support tickets and resolve Tier 2/3 issues. Act as primary point of contact for any emerging issues. Escalate and supervise issues as needed.

Education & Experience

BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
