We are seeking a hardworking Program Manager to join the Recruiting Organization. You will partner closely with our business groups, People team and and cross functional partners to find and attract the best talent for one of the world's most innovative and creative companies. In this role, you will engage with business leaders and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) to identify the best student talent to join Apple. The UR Diversity Program Manager will be passionate about university relations, recruiting, event execution and innovation. We are looking for a creative problem solver who can strategize and implement in a constantly evolving environment. You should have expertise in event coordination processes, have excellent presentation skills, build strong cross-functional relationships, and be obsessed with the details.

Key Qualifications

  • Ability to develop strategies and workflows to enhance on-campus initiatives i.e. networking events, tech talks, panels, information sessions, career fairs, targeted events etc.
  • Lead partnerships with university career centers, faculty, student groups etc. to execute recruiting and engagement events
  • You have a consistent track record as a successful project manager, preferably in university & student hiring.
  • Familiar with data tracking, budgeting, and tracking expenses
  • Maintain close relationships to collaborate with recruiters, coordinators, UR leadership, and business partners to understand needs, systems, and processes
  • Ability to utilize creative sourcing strategies to build robust pipelines and drive talent to targeted events
  • 5+ years working in university recruiting, corporate recruiting or a related HR or I&D function
  • Inquisitive, and team oriented, with the ability and vision to define the day-to-day aspects of your primary role while keeping focus on its larger goals.
  • Ability to actively establish trust, credibility, and influence throughout a highly matrix driven organization.
  • Deeply organized and have meticulous attention to detail.

Description
- Responsible for driving partnerships and engagement with Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs)
- Partner with recruiting peers to develop a holistic recruiting strategy on campuses to include faculty and student engagement and recruiting events
- Know your universities - develop positive relationships with faculty, staff, and student organizations to build a customized approach to recruiting
- Know your clients - partner with business leaders to assess their recruiting needs and anticipate future needs
- Know your market - have a pulse on the trends in the university space and modify your hiring strategy to best take advantage
- Track and analyze recruiting data and trends to understand the business landscape and build recruitment strategies & solutions
- Create ways to effectively measure success of recruiting strategies that directly correlate to recruiting funnel
- Ability to travel domestically ~20%

Education & Experience

Minimum BS/BA or equivalent
