We are looking for a leader to oversee and manage Apple's relationships with Universities including sponsored research, consortia, and other funding programs. As a member of the Corporate Development team, you would liaise between Apple's engineering/product organizations and Universities to collaborate on research and development for next-generation technologies. In this role you would be responsible for strategy, deal structuring, negotiations, cross-functional coordination, creative problem solving, and leading engagements with Apple's partners. An ideal candidate has direct experience working with Universities and would be the key Apple University Industry Partnerships Lead.
Key Qualifications
The University Industry Partnerships Lead would:
Cultivate relationships with Apple's external partners including Universities and academic leaders
Develop and implement company-wide strategy and best practices for Apple's University Industry Partnerships, in coordination with Apple engineering/product and legal teams
Structure, negotiate and execute agreements with Universities, in partnership with Apple engineering/product and legal teams
Collaborate across Apple organizations including engineering, legal and procurement to ensure technical and business objectives are met
Develop consistent approach and document processes to standardize and expedite completion of research programs
Clearly and concisely present key findings and proposals to senior leaders
Education & Experience
BA/BS preferred
