Job Description

As a BIOS Software Engineer, you will work as part of a team to establish and maintain development practices related to the creation of Software products. You will develop memory reference code for server silicon and related collateral. Responsible for authoring BIOS specifications, creating chipset reference code and developing / supporting platform BIOS for Intels CPUs and chipsets. Work closely with Intel silicon design and validation teams and be responsible for all software and BIOS related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.

Your duties may include, but not be limited to:

  • Performing complex product design, systems analysis and programming activities on applications software which may require some research
  • Participating in product design meetings
  • Implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems
  • Preparing technical documentation of product sub-systems
  • Performs complex bug correction, testing and beta support for assigned products
  • Research problems discovered during QA or product support and developing solutions to the problems
  • Create code, unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits with high quality deliverables


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Education Requirement

Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum Qualifications
1 year experience with each of the following:

  • C, Python
  • Circuit Analysis
