Raytheon Missiles & Defense has an excellent opportunity within the Global Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing Organization (SSO) Integration team for a Transition Lead. Among other responsibilities, Strategic Sourcing leads competitive sourcing efforts and the development of strategic supplier agreements, which are subsequently executed and managed by Supply Chain ISTs and Subcontract Managers.
As a Strategic Sourcing Transition Lead, you will ensure the successful and effective transition of the most complex and high value Strategic Sourcing initiatives to procurement teams for flawless execution. The role requires a candidate with a broad breadth of Supply Chain or Supplier Engineering experience to address the following responsibilities:
Understand a programs Material Strategy and its impacts on Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Execution
Proactively identify risks that will impact PO execution and build plans to mitigate said risks
Provide oversight and guidance to Strategic Sourcing Teams and other functions to align to program goals and mitigate risks
Facilitate the knowledge transfer of critical strategic decisions, parking lot details, and unresolved risks to ensure effective execution by Procurement teams
Maintain communication of status of SSO initiatives between program, SSO, Procurement Teams, and other functions as required

Required Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
Required Experience & Skills: Minimum of 8 years related work experience Experience working in the DoD Aerospace & Defense industry Experience with at least one of the following : Complex Subcontract management, Strategic and Competitive Sourcing, Material Strategy Development, Transition of product to new suppliers Experience with general Supply Chain or Supplier Engineering processes Experience leading effective cross-functional teams This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Desired Education, Experience & Skills: Master's Degree (MA, MS, MBA) or equivalent Active Secret DoD security clearance Experience with strong documentation and timeline management Experience at the intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with project management Experience with radar and missile related supply bases including PWBs, CCAs, Electronics, RF, complex machining, trailer structures, warheads, propulsion, control actuator systems, etc. Experience transitioning legacy productions parts to new suppliers Qualified Six Sigma Specialist or equivalent Understanding of US Government acquisition laws and regulations (FAR)
