Within Sales & Operations Support we are looking for an experienced, motivated, hands-on and supportive professional who will guide the Americas Operations Team, from a knowledge, skills, empowerment and organization development standpoint. This position works closely with all functions across Operations to identify needs and opportunities for additional training and development. Together with the Global Learning and Development Team, the Manager will lead the learning experiences to support Manager and employee development. The Manager is responsible for understanding Operations business needs and make strategic recommendations to enhance organizational performance and support ongoing learning across the AMR Operations team. This role is suitable for individuals who thrive in a fast paced, dynamic and evolving environment

  • Deep understanding of adult learning concepts and techniques and experience putting these concepts into practice
  • Knowledge of the instructional design process
  • Demonstrated ability to create learning plans linked to organization goals
  • Excellent planning, organization and implementation skills
  • Superb verbal and written communication
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in areas of ambiguity
  • Demonstrated success in managing global collaboration
  • Ability to build effective relationships in a cross-functional team environment

  • Experience in interacting with and influencing all levels of Management

  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • A minimum of 5-7 years experience managing training programs with visible results
  • A minimum 4-5 years managing a team of direct reports
  • Experience in a Supply Chain organization is a plus


Manage a team of direct reports who are directly responsible for Learning and Development Programs across AMR Operations. Identify both soft skill and functional training needs and develop effective programs to maximize performance. Work with teams to enhance existing new employee onboarding, training and coaching programs. Ensure the proper documentation is effectively developed, stored and maintained. Monitor implementation and effectiveness of development and training initiatives. Interface and work closely with global teams in Apple Operations. Prepare and lead executive updates on Learning & Development initiatives

Education & Experience

Master's degree or equivalent

Additional Requirements

  • International travel will be required
