Key Qualifications
As a Tooling Engineer on Apple's iPhone Manufacturing Design team your primary responsibility will be supporting the development of manufacturing processes for iPhone enclosures by designing tooling, CNC work holding, welding, gluing, and assembly fixtures to aid in fabricating & assembly of the iPhone mechanical enclosure parts.
In this role, you will work closely with Manufacturing Design Engineers to ensure the design of tool, jig, fixture meet the product design, manufacturing processes, and commercial/operational goals. Additionally, continue to explore new work holding techniques and develop new, emerging technologies in cutting tools, work holding for production machining and product assembly.
Education & Experience
BS, MS in engineering or technical field preferred
