Come work for the Apple's OLED team comprising of amazing engineers who make the best displays in the world including the Apple Watch and the iPhone. We make the worlds most reliable thin film encapsulation for OLEDs with worlds best electrical, optical and mechanical characteristics while achieving the small display and product bezels.

In this position, you will play a meaningful role in pushing the boundaries of OLED for next generation of products. To do so, you'll be working on core-technologies behind Thin Films such as ALD, PECVD or Inkjet Printing. You will enable on these technologies & products with Apple's OLED display vendors across the globe to bring them from R&D to prototyping to mass production.

Key Qualifications

  • Knowledge organic and inorganic thin film process or mechanical or chemical behavior
  • Theoretical Knowledge in thin film mechanics, physics, material chemistry or optics is an optional plus
  • Hands on Experience in ALD/PECVD is an optional plus
  • Ability model thin films through FEA or first principles is an optional plus

Description
- Determine future of OLED display product design and performance based on evolution thin film physics technology
- Establish requirements in-terms thin film physical behavior
- Quantify physical, optical, mechanical and electrical properties of ALD and PECVD films through analytical technics
- Collaborate with display manufactures to implement, validate and realize Apple's Industrial Design targets
- Play key role in component testing and validation with in-depth failure analysis

Education & Experience

Preferred Requirements:
- Ph.D. or Masters in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, materials science, physics, chemistry
