Job Description

Intel's Sort/Test Technology Development (STTD) Group seeks to drive world class innovations in the field of test technology. This is a position with the System Test technology development organization in STTD.

This role will involve pathfinding, research and development of tester capabilities, platform development for upcoming products, methods to test Intel's microprocessors. Job responsibilities include collaborating with technical experts inside and outside the organization to develop test capabilities used in system test, drive validation/deployment of new capabilities and supporting existing capabilities in that are being deployed in upcoming products.

Candidate must exhibit the following behavioral traits:

-Demonstrate ability to plan and drive projects to completion and adhere to deadlines with minimum supervision.
-Demonstrate experience/skills in structured problem-solving

-Be comfortable working in factory and/or lab environment.

This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Candidate must possess a Master's degree with 6+ months of experience or PhD degree with 1+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering/science disciplines.

Must have the required degree or expect the required degree by December 2021. 

Preferred qualifications:

6+ months of experience in the following:

-Electronics fundamentals
-Computer architecture.
- Programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, PERL, JAVA, PSpice, SQL, and scripting languages.
-VLSI test.
- Lab equipment
- Prior industry internship experience.
