Job Description

The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) Electronic Systems Integration Division (ESID) is currently seeking a highly motivated and well organized co-op student to start in the Fall 2018 semester for a position in the Quality Control and Test Branch (QCTB). Tasking for this position may include:

• Formal testing and qualification of avionics software and simulation tools
• Software and systems integration and testing
• Technical writing
• Quality Assurance (QA) and process improvement
• Test automation and scripting
• Working closely with the lead test engineer in support of projects as needed

Required Minimum Qualifications

Co-op Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or Computer Science
  • Must be enrolled in co-op program and registered for co-op credit for Fall 2018 with your university
  • Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in one or more programming languages.
• Experience with Python
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work in various sized teams
• Familiarity with Configuration Management (CM) and collaborative tools.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas

Hours per Week

40 hours per week

U.S. Citizenship Requirements

Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens.

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance upon hire
