The Texas A&M Cybersecurity Center, a joint center between the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station and Texas A&M University, invites applications for a Tenure/Tenure Track: Open Rank & Director. We are considering applicants at the assistant, associate and full professor levels. This 9-month academic appointment, with the possibility of an additional summer appointment contingent upon need and availability of funds, begins fall of 2021. The successful applicant will be required to teach; advise and mentor graduate students; develop an independent, externally funded research program; participate in all aspects of the department’s activities; and serve the profession.

The Center Director develops and implements the mission, strategies and activities of the Texas A&M Cybersecurity Center. The Center Director will maintain, expand, and develop new projects, clients and exploits new markets in the general area of cybersecurity and related technologies R&D, workforce development and technology commercialization. The Center Director communicates the activities of the center to faculty, clients, sponsors, and leadership and receives their input as well as fosters, participates in, and develops collaborative and multidisciplinary activities with TAMUS faculty related to cybersecurity and related technologies. The Center Director also organizes, supervises, and manages the employees of the center. The Director is expected to grow the level of research and education activities at the Center.
