Tenure Track Assistant Professor- Power Electronics

Electrical and Computer Engineering Assistant Professor in the area of power electronics. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the design and modeling of power electronics applications. Though not exclusively, we are interested in candidates with interests in wide band-gap (WBG) semiconductors.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the design and modeling of power electronics applications. Though not exclusively, we are interested in candidates with interests in wide band-gap (WBG) semiconductors. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in electrical or computer engineering or a closely related field by the date of appointment and must show the potential to establish a quality research program, collaborate effectively with other faculty, and excel in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
