Job Description

As the TEM Technician, you will be responsible for but not limited to: 

  • Support of engineering activities such as fabrication, failure analysis, technology development, process development, and process integration in support of technical functions.
  • Conducts engineering tasks and detailed technical procedures to perform sample preparation or imaging using advanced focused-ion-beam and/or transmission electron microscope tools in support of the research and development activities of Intel.
  • Work is completed according to general instructions.
  • Performs other related duties as required or as directed.
  • Continuous upgrading of skillset.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.


 Minimum Qualifications:


Candidate must possess at least one of the following:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Technology, Material Science or a related field of study; OR
  • Technical Certification; OR
  • 1 + years of military-relevant experience
  • 1 + years of relevant experience in hands-on Lab and or manufacturing experience.

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Practical experience with sample preparation using FIB/SEM and/or Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) operation.
