Job Description

If you have a strong semiconductor process technology background and enjoy customer interaction, this is the position for you. Intel Foundry Services (IFS) Technology team is looking for candidates with strong technical skills in semiconductor process technology development to work with our customers. You will work with internal and external technical and marketing teams to drive the IFS process technology development strategy. 

The Technology Lead will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Technical management of process technology development and planning.

  • extensive understanding of semiconductor leading-edge foundry technology development process and customer technology requirements.

  • Developing technology specifications and communicate across internal and external teams.

  • Driving IFS technology development programs.

  • Work closely with the technology development team on defining and developing process technology and features for IFS customers.

  • Lead technology discussions with customers and develop the best solutions to ensure customer success in developing their products.

  • Tracking customers' technology issues and requests, and work with the engineering team to provide prompt feedback and solutions.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.


Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the 2 following degrees + the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study with 6+years of experience. Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study with 4+years of experience.

Experience required in:

  • Design team interactions.

  • Leading-edge technology development or related areas.

  • Process development.

  • Yield enhancement.

  • Device engineering.

  • Design technology co-optimization.

  • Quality and reliability requirement.

  • PDK content and development

  • Foundation IP content and its interdependencies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiar with Intel and/or other leading foundry process technology development practices.

  • Experience with providing technical directions to engineering teams.
