Job Description

As the Technology Development Quality and Reliability Program Manager you will be responsible for but not limited to: 

  • Acting as the single point of contact for all Q&R requests to TD Q&R from our partners in Logic Technology Development and Intel Foundry Services, including tracking to committed milestones and collateral, working through existing program managers and module engineers.
  • Program managers develop knowledge and expertise in module quality and reliability over time and act as first points-of-contact for all new issues, owning strategic direction and providing technical inputs in all task forces, focus teams, and working groups.
  • Working with BU partners to identify, prioritize and track requests to TD Q&R; these requests may include changes to the technical scope of support for the business.
  • Helping ensure the requests are taken to the correct forums for review/feedback/approval.
  • Representing TD Q&R to foundry customers for key technical support, if applicable.
  • Facilitation of creating customer collateral and reports.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Written and verbal communication skills, including skills to summarize key messages for senior management reviews.
  • Plan, manage and delegate activities to a cross-organizational team of engineers.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

 Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following degree(s) plus the years of experience determined for each of the areas specified below. 

  • Master's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Material Science Engineering, and Physics or a related field of study with at least 12+ years of experience in engineering, characterization, modeling, and/or failure analysis of semiconductor devices (such as solid state transistors, optoelectronic devices, and switching devices used in displays); OR
  • Ph.D. in Electrical, Mechanical, Material Science Engineering, and Physics or a related field of study and 5+ years of experience in engineering, characterization, modeling, and/or failure analysis of semiconductor devices (such as solid state transistors, optoelectronic devices, and switching devices used in displays)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Failure mode effects analyses and model-based problem-solving approaches.
  • Statistics and data analysis including the use of tools such as Excel and JMP.
