Come join a great team! Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our newly formed Network and Edge Group (NEX) for an exciting technical training role. This role is part of NEX's Ethernet Product Group, where you will work on exciting new products fueling the data center growth. We are looking for a mid to Senior Technical Training Engineer to develop new content and conduct world class and professional training for engineers and customer audiences on software development kits for our next gen networking products.


  • Develop new and updated curriculums comprised of courses and lab work for online and live instructor led training
  • Explore and implement modern platforms for scaling training including cloud computing platforms.
  • Enable colleagues and partners to teach content in assigned technical specialties.
  • Evaluate training materials in the context of current advances in technology tools and flows Revise or recommend revisions to keep courses up to date. Work cross functionally to acquire source material and assist in publishing and promoting classes and online content.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and partner teams to plan custom curriculums for key customers.
  • Respond to customer client training needs to take them from the design in phase to the production phase faster.

Technical trainers must be extremely knowledgeable in their field of expertise and possess solid technical aptitude. In additional to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will also have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must to explain complex technical subjects in a clear manner.
  • Prepare training material (presentations, instruction manuals, lab material)
  • Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc.
  • Willing to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivation and eagerness to learn and teach innovative products and solutions


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronic Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant training experience in network stacks, L2/L3 Ethernet switching and routing, embedded systems
  • 5+ years of experience with technologies like VxLAN, EVPN

Preferred qualifications:

  • Training experience on SDKs/APIs in cloud computing environment
  • Experience in various programming languages like C/C++, Python.
  • Experience with technologies like OvS, Openconfig, gRPC, REST/JASON APIs and XML
  • Experience in opensource implementations
  • Experience with P4 network protocol will be a plus
