As a Technical Support Specialist you will be responsible for fulfilling highly visible requests and managing hardware programs supporting Apple's Product & Design Team. You will also provide personal training and setup assistance for the team while working closely with engineering and other support team who can help resolve issues. With your empathetic nature, you provide outstanding advice every day with style, speed, and skill. You earn the trust of coworkers as you offer guidance, knowledge, tips, and training. You gain satisfaction from bringing resolution and insight to each interaction, elevating your relationships to the next level.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years working in customer service field, specifically dealing with Apple products.
  • Strong background handling customers, specifically in very sensitive or problematic situations.
  • Passion for providing great service and a dedication to exceeding expectations.
  • Aptitude for acquiring skills in technical scenarios and an eagerness to learn.
  • Experience in inventory management (inventory control specialist) is key.
  • Ability to multitask along with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Phenomenal teamwork skills.
  • Network or/and server administration experience are required.
  • Repair certifications for Apple hardware and software are a plus.

Description

These are main attributes for the role:
- Inventory management skills to oversee accurate product quantities for lab's requirements, along with quarterly and yearly inventory audits.
- Preparing and refreshing of systems/devices for Apple seeding. (This includes setup, software install, testing, repairing, packing and shipping for all Apple products.
- Prioritizing requests to meet tight deadlines, as priorities often shift in this dynamic environment.
- Providing detailed reports on equipment programs and projects assigned.
- Organization and cleanliness, keeping pristine for unexpected VIP visitations.
- Identifying improvement to existing processes and working towards documentation of these procedures.
- Assisting in the determination of older equipment ready for refurbishment and the cycling of service parts.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred.
