Job Summary:
Were seeking a motivated professional to take on the role of Integration, Deployment, Fielding and Sustainment Technical Support Lead, providing meaningful field and office support to the program Hardware and Software Cross Product and Integrated Product Leadership teams.

As a Technical Support Lead, youll ensure our products are designed for sustainment, and your technical experience will help to influence the product life cycle from inception to development and sustainment.

In this role you will support a team responsible for asset operations and modernization, including technology refreshes, software and hardware upgrades. You will also assist with the overall integrity of the system including baseline management and configuration updates.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
As a Technical Support Lead, youll be based at the Missile Defense Center (MDC) in Woburn, MA where youll interface with Program team members, Subject Matter Experts and the Customer.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the Integrated Product Team Lead in directing engineering activities
  • Assisting in the development of long term strategies in concurrence with technical requirements and customer needs
  • Assessing system performance and supportability and recommending improvements to increase technical capability, maintainability and sustainability
  • Reviewing and approving changes to the technical baselines via Configuration Control Board actions
  • Participating in proposal and engineering change proposal development
  • Assisting with the development and management of maintenance plans for site upgrades
  • Contributing to risk and opportunity management

International travel is required. Approximately five 7-day duration trips per year to Middle East type locations. (NOTE: During the COVID-19 pandemic, travel has been severely reduced and will be allowed only when critical to the program and safe to travel)

An advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience may be considered for this role. A PhD can account for 5 years of experience as required for this role.


Qualifications You Must Have:
Education: BS in a STEM discipline or BA in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Chemistry

Employment Experience:
  • 5+ years experience operating, maintaining, and/or troubleshooting DoD, manufacturing, or industrial equipment
  • Experience with tools, RF test equipment, and general test equipment commonly used in electric installation maintenance and/or test objectives
  • An active and in-scope Secret US Security Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and SCI access.

Qualifications We Value:
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI access
  • Experience in logistics management (or specialized coursework in this domain).
  • Experience supporting military/DOD programs.
  • Experience in sustaining engineering of complex systems with large numbers of COTS products and customer configuration items, including familiarity with industry standard management tools
  • Experience with SW and HW maintenance
  • Experience working in a multi discipline environment
  • Experience with I&T in fielded, mission critical systems
  • Technical expertise in resolving radar system anomalies
  • Experience facilitating cross organizational solutions in response to diverse objectives
  • Experience in a technical leadership role on a radar development or radar sustainment program
  • Understanding and respectful of foreign cultures and customs.
  • Experience with technology and systems with remote capabilities.
  • Self-starter
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
