Job Description

- As Technical Evangelist, you will be expected to make 2 critical contributions to Intel Software Products:
- Maintain technical relationships influencing adoption of oneAPI and related products at critical customers and ecosystem partners
- Capturing developing customer technical requirements and trends as current and future product requirements

- You will be expected to be the leading voice to the developer ecosystem on one or more specific technologies like compilers, libraries, runtimes, and/or middleware
- You will identify, engage, and build effective technology relationships with leaders and influencers in your assigned domain
- You will develop and maintain a technology roadmap for your domain of influence, calling out key strengths, weakness, opportunities, and threats
- You will maintain an evergreen assessment of competing technologies
- You will work closely with engineering to evaluate and sponsor future product into concept phase
- You will work closely with product management to generate and vet new product requirements
- You will work closely with Software and Technology Group, business units and Sales and Marketing Group marketing to achieve personal and company results
- You will promote adoption of Intel products through multiple means ranging from social media, blogs, videos, analyst/press briefings, public speaking, and/or other media as required

The successful Technical Evangelist will exhibit
- Strong knowledge of developer software, software development, and computing technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills understanding how to align Intel and customer/developer needs
- Proven ability to achieve strong results with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to develop and drive technical strategies
- Proven customer orientation with ability to build effective internal and external networks


Education Requirement
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum Requirements
- 8 years of software development, ecosystem development, developer relations or related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
- Experience driving developer requirements as part of product definition
- Experience in external speaking, social media, publishing and/or related technical outreach
- Experience with developer tools, developer relations, and/or developer operations
