Intel's Sales and Marketing Group (SMG) organization works with global customers and partners to solve critical business problems with Intel based technology solutions. SMG works across business units to amplify the customers voice and deliver solutions that accelerate their business. Our teams work across the entire sales cycle, pushing ingredient products to our billings customers while also pulling end solutions through to consumption. We work across numerous industries, including retail, enterprise and government, cloud services and healthcare as examples. The operations team focuses on forecasting, driving alignment with factory production and delivering efficiency tools and our marketing capability drives demand and localized marketing in locations around the globe. Our sales force navigates a complex partner and customer ecosystem while shaping product roadmaps, driving value for our customers, and collaborating to harness emerging technology trends to deliver comprehensive solutions.

The Application Design-In Center (ADC) in Intel's Sales and Marketing group provides world-class support to our large customers and developer partners. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on Intel's Atom, Core, Xeon hardware product lines and Intel's software products i.e. Intel oneAPI.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Investigating, debugging, and troubleshooting various software/hardware designs in support of Intel Architecture designs across all product segments.

  • Replicating customer issues, researching problems, work with Intel engineering teams to communicate issues, and coordinating the technical resources required to resolve problems.

  • Supporting customers from product definition, hardware design/bring up, software design, validation stages, and through postproduction support. Participating in new product development, representing the customers technical needs.

  • Working with existing technical documentation, development tools and customer reference boards.

  • Developing and presenting technical product training materials.

  • Working with the sales team to help resolve customers technical questions, participate in customer visits and presentations.

Qualifications

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must possess a degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 6+ months of experience or knowledge writing code in C, C++, Java, Python, read existing code and/or documentation and internalize and debug code

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+months of experience or knowledge in:

  • Cloud services knowledge (AWS, Azure, Google)

  • Cloud architecture and infrastructure

  • Reviewing and interpreting schematics, PCB layout files

  • Lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, and working with firmware programmer

  • Software development practices/tools on IA based platform

  • Linux or Windows environment
