Job Summary:

As a Technical Manual and Training Integrated Product Team Lead for the Deployment, Fielding, and Sustainment (DFS) sub-Integrated Product Team youll report to the Strategic Sensor Systems (S3) DFS Integrated Product Team Lead in the Whole Life Engineering (WLE) Directorate under the Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) Business Area.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
As a Technical Manual and Training Integrated Product Team Lead for the S3 Programs, youre responsible for overall leadership of Products including:
  • Coordinating across AN/TPY-2 product line to align the fleet and process efficiency to the maximum extent possible
  • Oversight of proposal and contract requirements
  • Managing technical manual requirements
  • Updating technical documentation as HW and HW upgrades in technology and LMI changes occur
  • Leading development and execution of training as radar SW and HW upgrades are made
  • Executing the delivery of the products and services to include briefing the customer as required
  • Conducting customer briefings
  • Identifying and managing risks and opportunities and associated mitigation and capture plans
  • Ensuring products/services are delivered on time and on-schedule
  • Ensuring performance to technical, cost, schedule, quality and EXIM requirements
  • Supporting follow-on program pursuits
  • Ensuring maximum commonality and re-use across the product and proactively addressing obsolescence, producibility, testability and supportability
  • Cultivating an inclusive culture where people are encouraged to identify issues early and present alternative viewpoints
Approximately 10-15% travel, both domestic and international will be required.

An advanced degree in a related field and minimum of 7 years experience may be considered for this role.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Education: BS in a STEM discipline or BA in Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics.

Employment Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in Engineering, Logistics, Program Management, Project Management or related technical field
  • Experience developing Performance Measurement Baselines, implementing EVMS, developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules, Risk & Opportunity Management or related program or project management tools
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:
  • Experience with Proposal or Capture efforts
  • Experience with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), experience allocating budget and scope, and constructing a meaningful and executable Integrated Management Schedule (IMS)
  • Experience with Missile Defense Programs
  • Experience presenting to upper level management and/or external customers
  • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to knock down barriers, remove roadblocks and negotiate change
  • Demonstrated consistency, accountability and flexibility managing multiple and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated track record of developing customer relationships to fulfill their needs and ensure their satisfaction and continued business
  • Strong analytic, technical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work across multiple programs, manage diverse tasks, requirements, and commitments and interface successfully with numerous disciplines
  • Active DoD Security Clearance
