Hands-on work with inspection methodology for compound semiconductor MMIC (Monolithic Multilayer Integrated Circuits) devices and interpretation of MIL and ANSI specifications and component drawings to make confident quality dispositions of suspect non-conformances
Physical inspection review of deliverable hardware as well as manufacturing documentation as required by process, technical data package, and contractual flow down.
Continuous improvement support for strengthening manufacturing systems, processes, and/or products
2nd shift position hours are 2pm to 10pm and will include an 8% shift differential
Required Skills:
2+ years of general hardware inspection experience
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with accept and reject criteria for general quality workmanship
Experience working with manufacturing processes, following work instructions, interpreting drawings and/or contractual flow downs
Desired Skills:
Experience working in semiconductor fabrication and/or manufacturing environments
Experience inspecting MMICs with working knowledge of industry technical standards (such as MIL-STD-883)
Experience working in a Represented Workforce environment
Experience administering quality workmanship standards in a manufacturing environment
Good organizational skills and ability to effectively coordinate multiple activities; self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Personal ownership and accountability, the ability to find solutions in difficult situations.
Proven ability to work proactively with others, driving decisions while also functioning as a team
Ability to walk back and communicate concerns to operations and support team
ASQ certified Inspector
Required Education (including Major):
High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
