TD Technology Development and Customer Engagement Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Embedded in TD core process development team on design, execution, and analysis of experiments aimed at the creation and optimization of leading-edge silicon transistor technology. This includes both physical and electrical data analysis, as well as extensive interaction with other technology development teams (integration, module, design/modeling and reliability).

  • Engage closely with Intel Foundry Service (IFS) Team and external customers to ensure the customer achieve leadership product performance and derive maximum value from Intel's advanced manufacturing technologies. It includes New Product Introduction (NPI) execution, device performance, yield, reliability and variability analysis on customers' design.

  • Interaction with customer design/product groups together with IFS is also a facet of this position in order to define technology requirements and parametric goals that meets customer needs.

  • Work closely with integration and device organization to ensure the high quality Process Design Kit (PDK) is delivered to design enablement team. It includes extensive Silicon-to-Simulation (or model-hardware correlation) analysis/target projection, layout effect validation, design rule validation and electrical monitors to product parametic correlation.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a Masters in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD degree with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience. Degree must be in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • 5+ years experience with semiconductor processing, device physics and electrical characterization techniques

  • 5+ years research experience with advanced transistor device structures and architectures including fabrication eg lithography etch film deposition cleans chemical mechanical planarization etc

  • 5+ years experience characterizing the electrical performance of leading edge transistor devices including current/voltage capacitance/voltage high frequency characterization FT fmax gate delay etc and performing device and circuit simulation to confirm analysis

  • 5+ years experience with future transistor device physics and process integration

  • 5+ years experience with process design kit target generation, silicon-to-simulation correlation and test structure design

  • 5+ years experience in device physics, CMOS process and test structure/design rule validation/analysis
