Do you want to help shape multibillion-dollar tactical radio acquisition decisions for the Army?  Do you want to learn the deep technical information about our current waveforms, hardware, and networks and design the next generation Electronic Warfare (EW) protected products for the warfighters communication systems?  MITRE has a Program Management Tactical Radio role to support the development of software for unit task reorganization, modeling and simulation of real threat systems on our communication networks, testing of vendor hardware and software solutions, prototype design of EW waveforms and systems, and architectural Subject Matter Expert (SME) support.


This position requires working closely with numerous government project leads (at the O5/O6 level), and collaborating with MITRE resources across the company.  


Key Requirements

  • Providing top level customer cover to field quick taskers and meetings in support to PM TRs mission

  • Leading PM TRs Electronic Warfare effort in terms of threats and system level design

  • Shaping the Unit Task Reorganization (UTR) with our MITRE developed software and developing the integration path into the Armys systems

  • Testing out alternate products and solutions, and designing architectures to accommodate new technology insertion

  • Working with local DH/PD/TD to help grow skill sets and ensure future success

Required Qualifications:

  • BS degree in EE or a similar discipline.

  • 5-10 years of experience related experience with 2 years leadership experience.

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent technical skills in both verbal and written communications are required.

  • Possess an active DoD secret clearance. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • BS and 8 years related experience.
