We're seeking a creative and motivated Quality Robotic Automation Engineer with excellent analytical, programming, problem-solving and communication skills to join a Systems Quality team working to ensure world-changing products are delivered at a high-quality to all our customers.

Key Qualifications
- Proficiency in computer vision.
- Coding proficiency (preferably Python) and ability to develop frameworks from scratch.
- Experience creating and using robotics/mechatronics to build automated solutions.
- Experience working with a wide range of sensors and actuators, and building circuits/systems that interface with them.
- Experience working with development boards like Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
- Demonstrated ability to own a complete functional area of an application or product.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Be detail-oriented and strive for the best product for our customers.
- Ability to solve hard problems with creative and maintainable solutions.
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate.
Description- Build robotic automated test systems, incorporating actuators & sensors to interface, trigger and sense features in Apple products.
- Design, engineer, maintain, and execute physical system testing solutions for hardware/software features.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA & program management teams to plan and deliver the most effective and impactful ways to test and solve short and long-term system-level problems.
- Analyze automation results, and use them to regress, isolate, report and quantify the impact of all issues found.
- Advocate for the customer and drive for the highest quality at all levels of the product.
- Develop and maintain clean test automation frameworks and test cases.
- Write test plans and test documentation.
- Report status on a regular basis and meet deadlines.
Education & Experience
- BS CE, CS, EE, or equivalent engineering degree (MS preferred)
Additional Requirements
- Nice to have:
- - Proficiency in applied mathematics (e.g. linear algebra, matrix computations, 3D geometry).
- - SQA or System Test experience, preferably on consumer-facing HW/SW products.
- - Experience with machine learning.
- - In-depth understanding of iOS, OS X, or Unix
