We have an opening for a Systems Integrator and Support Technician. You will be responsible for receiving, tracking, implementing and providing on-going support for application integration requests from organizations within the DOE complex. This position is in the Information Technology Solutions Division (ITSD) working as part of the LivIT Workforce Enablement Team in the Computing Directorate which supports the LivIT program.This position will be filled at either the 320.1 or 320.2 level depending on your qualifications. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if you are selected at the higher level.
Essential Duties
- Perform integrations between the NNSA/DOE enterprise Identity and access systems and consumers of service.
- Independently manage service request work queues, implementing integrations in conformance with Service Level Agreements and performance goals.
- Develop and maintain Service Level Agreements, technical procedures, processes and related documentation.
- Monitor, validate, troubleshoot, and work with external entities to resolve identity management issues.
- Respond to end-user communications.
- Facilitate systems and service status communications between technical staff and end-users
- Perform other duties as assigned.
In Addition at the 320.2 Level:
- Contribute to the design, implementation and support of custom infrastructure tools and applications.
- Analyze complex problems as well as design and develop required solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a computer-related field, or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through to assure problems are resolved and policies and procedures are followed.
- Customer service experience that demonstrates responsiveness to customer needs and requests, and working with customers to meet common goals.
- Advanced experience utilizing support ticket and automated issue tracking systems such as JIRA or ServiceNow.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, and Ansible or other similar version control, build, and deployment tools.
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively explain, present, advise, and influence managers, users and employees on a variety of simple and complex issues.
In Addition at the 320.2 Level:
- Highly advanced experience with Java, JavaScript or similar programming languages.
- High-level knowledge of web application technology and structures or equivalent technologies.
- Broad knowledge of SAML, OAuth2, SQL, LDAP, UNIX commands and utilities or similar technical areas.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PingFederate, RadiantLogic, SCIM protocol
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes

Pre-Employment Drug Test: External applicant(s) selected for this position will be required to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test. This includes testing for use of marijuana as Federal Law applies to us as a Federal Contractor.

Security Clearance: This position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance.

If you are selected, wewill initiate a Federal background investigation to determine if youmeet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter. In addition, all L or Q cleared employees are subject to random drug testing. Q-level clearance requires U.S. citizenship. If you hold multiple citizenships (U.S. and another country), you may be required to renounce your non-U.S. citizenship before a DOE L or Q clearance will be processed/granted.
