Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. In addition, perform troubleshooting of the equipment to the component level. Individual will be required to work independently for the majority of the time with some oversight. Individual will be required to respond to requests from Production personnel for investigating, analyzing, and repairing sophisticated electronic and electro-optical equipment. Develop software for ATE (Automatic Test Stations) and Test Adaptors (ITA's), capable to establish software test requirements. Able to write/document/ test complex ATE control software, integrate ATE software and demonstrate ATE products to both internal and external customers

Basic Qualifications
Familiarity with Test Software which may include (C, C++, C#, NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW, NI LabWindows CVI, Visual Studio, Matlab, Windows and LINUX operating systems)
Candidate skill set must include a solid electrical engineering background
Must be fluent in Windows operating systems plus Office products (Word, Excel,Outlook).
Must be able to obtain a Secret Level Clearance

Desired skills
Experience with "C" programming
Working knowledge of collimators and blackbodies. PWB (printed wiring board) Design, Schematic Capture programs like ORCAD/CADANCE/MENTOR GRAPHICS.
Electro Optical Testing Background including optical path design, integration, analysis, validation and verification
Familiar with optical alignment measurement equipment and techniques
Bachelor's degree in EE or related discipline
