The Systems Integration Technologist II / Sr. Systems Integration Technologist I is responsible for evolving information systems through integration and hosting of critical Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) Digital Technologys (DT) Digital Business Infrastructure. The candidate will integrate and implement solutions that digitally transform manufacturing compute environments, create/improve process, implement best practices, and sustain infrastructure. As a member of the Factory Integration & Modernization group, this role continuously improves cybersecurity posture, compliance, and seamless uptime for complex and highly regulated environments.
The successful candidate will work across multiple RMD organizations including Digital Business Infrastructure, Cybersecurity & Compliance, Operations, Program Management, Engineering, Global Security Services, and Facilities to advance, deploy, and sustain compliant infrastructure that achieves strategic milestones. The candidate can expect to resolve complex DT issues in the Operational Technology (OT) development space from discovery to resolution to root cause and corrective action in evolving DT/OT integration architectures. This position ensures hardware, operating systems, software, and related procedures adhere to or define new organizational and security-based policies. The candidate will transparently perform work as an accountable member of our Digital Business Infrastructure team using Lean Agile principals, processes, and tools.
The Systems Integration Technologist II / Sr. Systems Integration Technologist I is responsible for, but not limited to:
Developing and deploying new DT/OT solutions that satisfy governance, sustainment, and cybersecurity requirements on behalf of Digital Technology
Applying broad digital skillsets necessary to integrate and host Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) capabilities
Collaborating with cross functional technical teams to enable, create, and support advancement of new and legacy DT/OT architectures
Providing technical support, design input, and solution alternatives to Operations automation and software engineers utilizing DT hardware and software environments
Hosting, installing, configuring, maintaining, and inventorying server and workstation systems
Configuring security-relevant software and performing security-related compliance documentation for seamless integration with factory automation
Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours
Minimum Required Skills / Certifications:
Bachelors degree in a Science, in IT or (STEM), Information Systems, or related technical field and minimum of 2 years IT systems administration and/or integration experience or a Master degree in IT or STEM and 0 years of experience or lieu of a IT or STEM degree must have additional 8 years of experience
Experience in two or more of the following areas: network design, Windows system administration, UNIX system administration, application packaging and scripting, data analysis, or installation and operation of factory IT equipment
Experience computer literacy - x86-based hardware and Microsoft operating systems
Experience with cyber-security vulnerability remediation and system hardening
Must be able to lift 15 pounds in support of hardware installations
Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a DoD secret security clearance

Literacy in additional computer operating systems including Unix and Linux
Experience with Citrix and virtual desktop/application delivery technologies
Support experience in a dynamic automated manufacturing environment
Vision of continuous improvement in data acquisition and automation
Competent verbal and written communication skills
Six Sigma and/or Lean certification/training
Current DOD Security Clearance
