Lockheed Martin values your skills, training and education. Come and experience your future! This position is for an System Engineer Staff for the Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) and similar programs. The selected candidate will serve as a member of the Training Systems Solutions System Engineer Staff team overseeing the technical execution of CRH flight simulation programs.

• System Engineer Staff responsibilities will include: Acting as the Engineering and Technology point of contact for programs across all Engineering disciplines,

• Ensuring that program Engineering and Technology processes and procedures are defined and followed,

• Ensuring that program technical resource needs are defined and met and working with the Functional organization to identify and secure appropriate staffing,

• Responsibility for overall Engineering and Technology cost, schedule and technical program performance while ensuring overall technical integrity of the delivered product,

Additional System Engineer Staff tasks include:
• Lead team of Systems Engineers assigned to respective projects,
• Participate in Program/Project Design Reviews,
• Participate in Program Management Reviews,
• Leverages and drives proven processes, lessons learned, and best practices from other parts of the business or industry,
• Make technical decisions for respective projects,
• Work with program planners to update the IMS with updates to integration and test activities,
• Peer review program document deliverables,
• Ensures establishment and tracking of open issues (snags),
• Serve as the technical lead for proposals, if required,
• Ensures project risks are managed,
• Occasional travel to support project milestones and management reviews (~25%)

Basic Qualifications
The System Engineer Staff will lead multiple projects within the CRH team. The System Engineer Staff will be responsible for ensuring that all project milestones are coordinated and completed in a timely fashion. The System Engineer Staff will meet weekly with team members, customers, and subcontractors to ensure that projects stay on task. In addition, the System Engineer Staff will be required to provide project status to the Program Managers and Leadership on a weekly basis. The System Engineer Staff will serve as the CAM on assigned projects

Desired skills
- Experience working with multiple subcontractors and suppliers,
- Willing to travel when required,
- Strong Systems Engineering Lifecycle knowledge,
- Strong Team Leadership
- CRH experience,
- Experience working with flight simulators,
- Understanding of CAM roles & responsibilities
