Looking for a talented, highly motivated Systems Engineer with technical project leadership experience to join the protected satellite communications team. The Operations Sustainment and Logistics (OSL) team supports the COOLS sustainment contracts. The Systems Engineer must have strong technical writing skills and ability to conduct independent subject matter research in real time telemetry systems. Providing system level expertise on Real Time Telemetry Processing system. Development of several specifications (CONOPS, Architecture, Requirements) to support the procurement, development and integration of the MASC telemetry system

Basic Qualifications
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Designing and developing embedded systems
• Programming in the C language
• Perl and Unix shell scripting
• Wind River Systems VxWorks Real Time operating system
• Serial telemetry processing
• Solaris 10 Administration
• Code and flash Virtual Machine Environment (VME) processor cards to load custom satellite database information
• VME hardware and software
• Code and configure KIV, and MYK decryptors
• Current Secret clearance

Desired skills
• Serial telemetry processing, 1553 protocols and anomaly resolution
• 5 + years of experience writing real-time serial telemetry processing custom applications
• Real time simulation techniques, reflective memory and troubleshooting of geographically distributed collection of cooperating systems
• 1553 protocols used by Lockheed Martin A2100 Spacecraft and Payloads
• Launch support experience
• Programming in the C language, network sockets, RPC and Unix system calls
• TCL and TK programming of operator interfaces including inter-process communication, serial communications, sockets and interfacing with other scripting and programming languages including Perl, Perl modules and Unix shell scripts
• Wind River Systems VxWorks Real Time operating system, Embedded C, Workbench and Kernel Configurator tools including kernel customization for MVME6100 single-board computers
• Oracle Solaris System Administration, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Unix system hardening and maintenance
• Development using C, Perl, TCL/TK GUI, Bourne, Korn, and C shell scripting in the
• Support, design and extend the Graphical User Interfaces to matrix switches, and custom VME processors
• Support, design, and extend the custom decommutation code for VME processors
• Support, design, and extend the real-time telemetry distribution system
• Milstar and AEHF telemetry frames and formats
• Designing and developing multi-processor, time deterministic embedded systems integrated with servers and distributed client applications, including deriving requirements, integration testing, documentation, operator training and troubleshooting
