We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic Systems Engineer to integrate magnetic sensor technologies into our products. The candidate must have an excellent understanding of sensing technologies, and a consistent record of shipping products preferably in consumer electronics domain. The role requires highly analytical skills in system design parameters, data analysis, and reporting conclusions with strong written and verbal skills.
You will be responsible for leading the entire work flow of system engineering pertaining to this technology - Feature set requirements, defining specs , selecting cal approach and driving validation plan for module/in-system integration. This will be a high cross functional interaction and interdependent role where you will be working with PD/REL/SW/Metrology/Ops partners on a regular basis.

Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years work experience
  • Excellent understanding of magnetic sensor modalities including Hall effect, GMR, AMR, design tradeoffs, manufacturing complexities, and characterization/calibration methodologies
  • Know-how of FMEA concepts for technology integration in system
  • Expertise in magnetic sensor integration into systems, and proven record of shipping products
  • Experience with LabView/Python scripting for automated data collection
  • Experience with FEM simulations using COMSOL or ANSYS , data analysis tools like JMP or similar
  • Strong verbal communication skills across organizations
  • Excellent written skills for clear reporting of data analysis and conclusions

BS/MS in relevant field (EE, ME, Physics)
