WANTED: Outgoing team player who wants to be part of a successful space support program. This Systems Engineer will be part of the System Engineering team within the Military Support Program Echelon 2 (MSP-E2) Program. The program is focused on providing E2 sustainment support for the family of LM Space MSP programs. The E2 contract includes sustainment and anomaly support to ongoing operations, obsolescence and recapitalization responsibilities, and delivery of evolutionary capability improvements.

This Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing Systems Engineering support and oversight to the maintenance of the end to end system operational baseline. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring standard systems engineering activities on the E2 contract and across the larger MSP program. The Systems Engineer will be a critical component in supporting the engineering change proposal process, Lessons Learned and Metrics management across the internal LM-Space, LM-Msn Solutions and various subcontractor teams. The Systems Engineer will work closely with the E2 Process lead, and technical management leads, as well as requiring customer interaction. Responsibilities may also include the project leadership for the execution and delivery of small ($1-$10M) multi-disciplined products

Basic Qualifications
- Systems Engineering background (e.g., experience in risk, trade studies, program management support, etc.)
- Proven experience with the engineering change process
- Strong communications capabilities with peers and management, with proven oral and written presentation and interpersonal relations skills
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance

Desired skills
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Knowledge of Echelon 1, 2, 3 roles and responsibilities
- Design, operations and maintenance of Satellite and associated Ground command and control systems
- Ability to handle multiple system issues in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of systems engineering process management and CMMI compliance
- Hardware and software delivery
- Project leadership skills that ensure projects are executed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans
- Proposal technical volume development
- Program Lessons Learned process
- Basic program metrics tools (e.g. software quality, reliability and code counting)
- Ability to cultivate and develop effective customer relationships
