What’s next? It’s a question we never stop answering at Lockheed Martin. This is an opportunity to work on the Labs and Tech Services (L&TS) System Engineering team. L&TS a highly innovative team responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery. Within L&TS resides an extensive collection of systems integration and test capabilities, including low-cost rapid prototyping concept development systems, full-dome handling qualities simulations, high-fidelity multi-ship, real-time, man-in-the-loop simulation systems, Reprogramming Laboratories, and hardware-in-the-loop mission systems and vehicle systems integration venues

The successful candidate will be a part of the F-35 Labs and Technical Services System Engineering team assigned to work on the F-35 Simulation Laboratory projects. This position requires an experienced candidate with process management and implementation experience. The candidate will be responsible for establishing, coordinating, enforcing and guiding implementation of effective engineering policies, standards, processes and methodologies that are applicable to program specific requirements and compliant with appropriate organizational process. Candidate will support leadership in the application of the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the all relevant lifecycle phases from mission analysis/stakeholder needs analysis through system delivery and operational support. Responsible for coordinating plans, processes and procedures for defining, controlling and publishing the baseline requirements at all levels of the product development process and ensuring all processes and procedures are being followed.

NOTE: This position requires unique program security clearances that will be initiated upon selection and acceptance in filling this position. Final approval of these security clearances is dependent upon the Department of Defense (DoD) and could take an extensive amount of time to be granted. During this waiting period, the work assignments directly related to this position will be limited. Therefore, auxiliary organization work assignments will be provided

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline required
-Experience developing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures
-Experience in establishing performance metrics for identifying process improvement
-Experience with Configuration management
-Experience with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
-Experience making presentation to audiences up to and including senior-level company management

Desired skills
- Man-in-the-Loop Simulation awareness
- Familiarity with LM's F-35 In-A-Box simulation product
- Effective communication skills: written, oral, listening and technical writing
- Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
