Job Description

As part of Intel's Programmable Solutions Group (PSG), the Platform Validation Team plays a key role in both pre-silicon and post-silicon validation. We are responsible for validating all of PSG's products and solutions. We are looking for an enthusiastic pre/post-silicon System Validation Engineer interested in working with Intel's latest cutting-edge technology. Key technologies that we work with include PCIe and/or other coherent interconnects. As a System Validation Engineer you will bring your broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Pre/Post-Silicon Validation teams in improving Post-silicon test content and providing feedback for future on-die debug features. You will partner in cross-site and cross-team collaboration. Our System Validation Engineers are expected to do hands-on content development and debug in pre/post-Si validation at the SoC and system level. Your scope of responsibilities may include, although not limited to:Create, define and develop system validation environment and test suites. Development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures.Uses and applies emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec.Responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures. Validate Intel products Cache Coherency protocols in Pre-Si/Post Si


Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research, relevant job and/or internship experiences.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Minimum Qualifications
6+ months of pre/post silicon validation experience with a Master's Degree (2+ years if you have a Bachelor's Degree) including:
Systems engineering and/or Computer Architecture experience

Python experience

Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of post-silicon validation experience

C/C++, Perl, TCL experience

Post-silicon validation and debug

Memory Cache Coherency protocols

PCIe protocol experience

Commercial OS (e.g. Linux)
