In the Data Processing Group, we are looking for an enthusiastic System Validation Engineer interested in working with Intel's latest cutting-edge technology. Key technologies that we work with include Computer Express Link (CXL) and Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe).

In this position, you will need to possess a broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving Post-silicon test content and providing feedback for future on-die debug features. This lead role will work in cross-site and cross-team collaboration.

The System Validation Engineer is expected to do hands-on content development and debug in pre/post-Si validation at SoC and system level.

In this role responsibilities may include, although not limited to:

  • Create, define, and develop system validation environment and test suites.
  • Development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures.
  • Uses and applies emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec.
  • Responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures.
  • Validate Intel products Cache Coherency protocols in Pre-Si/Post Si



Minimum Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 3+ years of experience or
  • Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 2+ years of experience

Minimum Requirement:

3+ years of pre/post silicon validation experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Memory Cache Coherency Protocol (e.g.: CXL)
  • Experience with Systems Engineering and Computer Architecture
  • Experience with Python and C/C++ scripting
  • Experience with Post-silicon debug
