The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity. The Proprietary program has an opening for a System on Chip Attack Analysis Engineer (Level 3). This position will be located in Saint Louis, MO.

If so, then the Boeing Anti-Tamper Engineering Capability Center may have an exciting role for you. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the analysis and implementation of the architectural specification collaborating with a diverse team across many disciplines including: design, verification, emulation, software, packaging, circuit board and more
  • Gather, analyze and validate measured and simulated results to compare architectural design alternatives
  • Support the complete architectural implementation across the life cycle, from concept to delivery, assess and refine implementation and ensure requirements are met
  • Keep abreast of processor, foundry, trust, intellectual property, packaging, standards, trends, tools & methodology and support strategy
  • Collaborate with Chief Engineers and Technical Leaders
  • Supports analysis of customer and system requirements and development of architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products.
  • Supports development of high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.
  • Supports reviews of testing and analysis activity to assure compliance to requirements.
  • Identifies, tracks and statuses technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Works under minimal direction.

Export Control:

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Possess a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in an avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems role
  • Experience in hardware design in both digital and analog circuits
  • Experience with modeling complex system architectures
  • SoC/chip experience working with collaborative cross-disciplinary teams (ASIC design, verification, physical design, emulation, software, electronic board design and platform teams) through production/delivery of one or more SoC(s); preferred if SoC(s) were RISC-V and/or ARM-based
  • Depth and breadth of experience of various components of a SoC
  • Strong understanding of processor/SoC architecture and industry standard interface protocols

Typical Education and/or Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
