Seeking a Deputy Systems IPT Lead for a major weapons development program. The successful candidate must have experience in systems engineering principles as it relates to leading and executing weapons developmental testing. Duties include:

- Interpret and decompose requirements for test plan development.

- Lead teams developing test plan, test procedure and run card development for ground tests including System Qualification, Instrumented Measurement Vehicles flight test program, jettison free flight tests, safe separation free flight tests.

- Support the planning and execution of weapons ground and flight tests in conjunction with the USG, MFC System Test IPT, and JTF team members

- Support coordination of Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and Flight Readiness Review (FRR) requirements across product teams.

- Participate in Teat Readiness Reviews (TRR) and Flight Readiness Reviews (FRR) for all phases of ground and flight tests.

- Provide real-time mission support and post mission debriefs of weapon performance.

- Document findings and results in accordance with established development and configuration management processes.

- Effectively communicate and report on discovered anomalies.

- Assist with troubleshooting and deficiency correction.

- Support Test Plan Working Group (TPWG) meetings.

Candidate must have exceptional interpersonal skills and must be able to work well in a test team environment. This position will require occasional travel

Basic Qualifications
Understanding of weapon integration test operations.

Development Test & Evaluation Test Experience in ground, captive carriage, and flight test operations.
Control Room experience.

Excellent system troubleshooting skills and experience.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Interactive Analysis and Display System (IADS) and test data analysis.

Demonstrated weapons testing expertise and has knowledge of other related disciplines

Develops technical solutions to problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

Performs without appreciable direction.

Determine technical objectives and approaches to assignments.

Leads the successful completion of test projects.

Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on projects.

Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Desired skills
The following are desired skills and capabilities for Systems Integration and Test (I&T) assignments:

Demonstrate knowledge of subsystem HW/SW capabilities, sensor capability, emitter capability, and permissions for their use

Design a system verification process that is performed to well-constructed I&T Plans derived from DOORS requirements

Assure that system built-in performance has been achieved from the lowest level modules to the final assembled system

Demonstrate the ability to operate comfortably with software engineers, designers, and production personnel

Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for I&T program efficiency

Deliver effective Customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details

Demonstrate awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements

Verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately

Generate concise but thorough test reports purpose-built for use in functional configuration audits and related V&V events

Knowledge of U.S. military aviation operations.

Working knowledge of weapon sub-systems and how they integrate with the aircraft.

Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to effectively interface with civilian government, DoD, and industry representatives
