Qualified Applicant submissions to this role will be accessed and reviewed by the hiring manager for the Andover, MA location. Our positions in Systems Administration are relocation eligible based on eligibility per company policy.

Job Summary/Responsibilities to anticipate
Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux (Primary OS) environment. Understanding and knowledge of Windows Servers to include DNS, DHCP, AD and server replication methods. Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS). Understanding of data RAID, data backup uses and technologies. Install and configure software applications requested by end users. Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements. Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications you will need:
  • Bachelors degree and 2 years of direct experience or in lieu of a degree additional 1 years of IT/System Administration experience may be substituted for each completed 1 year of college
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. Except in rare cases, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Ability to obtain required Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of hire date
  • Experience with Windows Operating Systems (Win Server 2016, Win10, etc.)
  • Experience with scripting (powershell)
  • Experience with security hardening of Windows systems
  • Microsoft Group Policy Fundamental
  • In-depth experience deploying Windows workstations
  • Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services Administration and Support
  • Understanding of network services as related to Microsoft Windows environment (DHCP, DNS, GPO, AD, DC, etc.)
  • Experience with PC and/or Server architectures and troubleshooting methods and be able to assist in developing solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems
  • Strong user interaction skills with users of all levels.
  • Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours, may require less than 10% some travel.

Qualifications we value:
  • Master degree in IT or STEM related field
  • An active DoD Secret clearance, or a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance or prior SCI/program eligibility
  • Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification
  • Direct working experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF
  • Experience with Red Hat OS
  • Experience with NetApp data storage and data backup technologies
  • Experience with using Information Technology project lifecycle management processes
  • Experience with Nessus and Vulnerability Patching
  • Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX virtual computing methods
  • Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development
