Job Description

The Connectivity Integration and Validation team within the Wireless Connectivity Solution (WCS) group is looking for a highly motivated senior Software Test, Integration, Automation Engineer with extensive wireless knowledge to excel at test activities for Intel's wireless connectivity products (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc). In this position, you will be responsible for developing, automating, and executing comprehensive test plans for hardware, drivers, and applications to ensure product quality as well as demonstrate product differentiation. This also includes the design, development, and implementation of SW tools and automation related to testing various aspects of the product including functional, performance, stability, interoperability, and conformance to industry standards. Additional duties include debugging, fault isolation, and bug reporting. You will work closely with system engineers, software engineers, and application engineers to understand the specifics of the product, industry standards and customer requirements and usage models to develop in-depth integration and validation test plans. Direct interaction with customers and ecosystem partners will also be required when necessary.

You must possess the education and the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Software Engineering/ Computer Science or STEM related field with 1+ years of industry experience, or

Masters Degree in Computer Engineering/Software Engineering/ Computer Science or STEM related field

Minimum Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in software engineering, integration, validation or system engineering
1+ years of experience in personal wireless technology (Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth)
1+ Experience with Wi-Fi/BT functional, performance, and Interoperability validation
1+ years of experience with Windows, Chrome, and Linux-based OS internals
1+ years of experience with C#, Python, and C++ programming languages

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in wireless industry and OS product certification/qualification processes (WFA, BT-Sig, HLK, WHQL)
Experience in developing test automation and tools
