Apple's Information Systems & Technology organization is looking for Supply Chain Systems Support Lead which is a techno-functional role and will be part of the team that maintains and supports systems that cater to some of the most sophisticated and integrated Supply Chain processes.

The role is pivotal in sustaining end-to-end software solutions for Apple's Supply Chain needs varying from Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Product Distribution to name a few. We partner with various partners to define, implement and support solutions that optimize Business processes and operations.

Key Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain processes
  • Development and support of Supply Chain applications including Supply Planning and Demand Planning
  • Expert knowledge in application support models and frameworks including hands-on experience in L1/L2/L3 support activities (involving direct interaction with end users)
  • Demonstrable record of continuous improvement and ability to drive Root Cause Analysis
  • Knowledge of Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC)
  • Experience in leading a large teams
  • Experience in supporting web and Java-based applications
  • Detailed knowledge of UNIX/Linux platforms. Scripting experience with Shell, XML, JSON, Advanced SQLs, Oracle PL/SQLs
  • Experience in Java, Python Data Analytics platforms, Pandas Data Frames, sqlalchemy, numpy, etc.
  • Experience with REDIS data store and in-memory data structure platforms
  • Experience with large volume databases for both OLTP and OLAP environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a multi-discipline and collaborating with a geographically dispersed team

Description

Lead a team providing 24X7 Support (AMS) for multiple Supply Chain applications

Problem solve issues and drive crisis management

We represent the Support organization in various meetings and forums

Collaborate and partner application owners, developers, QA, project managers and end users in triaging issues to resolution

We ensure application stability with a focus on continuous improvement

Perform design and code reviews and participate in debugging and coding to solve problems.

Provide technical guidance and mentoring

Build and maintain SOPs and improve support structure and skillset

Supervise and drive SLA's and KPI's with a highly outsourced team

We improve and enhance system stability, reliability, performance and security

Education & Experience

B.S / M.S in Computer Science or equivalent

Eight plus years of meaningful experience
