Job Description

As the Supply Chain Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for but not limited to: 


  • Programs within Global Sourcing for Equipment and Materials (GSEM) are directly related to improving the effectiveness of planning processes and systems impacting supplier forecasts.
  • Partner with TMG SP and LTD IE to understand LRP, MOR, and other capacity and capital changes, so you are able to clearly explain supply chain impacts within GSEM and to suppliers.
  • Perform scenario analyses to ensure the supply chain can support both the baseline forecast as well as the various scenarios.
  • Review all supplier forecasts (both near-term and long-range) for accuracy prior to them going out to suppliers.
  • Create executive-level summaries to be used by GSEM Account Managers and others to explain capital forecasts to suppliers.
  • Engage with various equipment productivity efforts to ensure supply chain triggers are understood and being used to assess the risk of project delays or failures.
  • Ensure productivity opportunities from suppliers have required details and timelines so they can be raised as options to resolve capacity gaps.
  • Partner with GSEM Affordability team, TMG SP, LTD IE, and Finance to improve CapEx forecasting.
  • In this role, you will create robust solutions to address not only current issues but also anticipated future challenges.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field of study.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in starting up, ramping, and/or sustaining factories
  • This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Intel's Capital Planning, Forecasting, and Procurement processes and systems
  • Experience working with suppliers
